Peter Schmeichel is most definitely a legend. The former Manchester United Number 1 will go down in history as the club’s greatest ever goalkeeper and a public poll by Reuters in 2001 named him the best ‘keeper in the World ever.
In 2003 he was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame and a year later he was listed as one of the 125 greatest living footballers at the FIFA 100 celebrations.
