What we do at Harris & Ross

What we do

Rob Harris and Jeff Ross set up Harris & Ross in 2004. After many years working in international sport, we realised there was a huge gap between how professionals were being treated and what was available to the general public.

We use a sports model of rehabilitation, bringing on board the top specialists in each field to treat patients from the onset, right through to recovery and ultimately correcting the cause of the injury.

Our team’s credentials are world-class and Harris & Ross is recognised as one of the country’s leading authorities on post-operative knee, shoulder and spinal rehabilitation.

In addition to the practice, we have been invited to present at conferences worldwide on our unique approach to managing the entire patient journey. We also give expert advice and second opinions to professional sports clubs around the country.

What our clients say about Harris & Ross

So, my question to the consultant "what can you do for me now?" His answer to me "There is nothing else that we can do for you now". After two spinal ops and spinal injections the medical profession had washed its' hands of me. If I had known then what I know now, I would never have gone down the route of surgery! If only my last resort had been my first. All I could see in the future was a wheelchair with my name on it, so it was in sheer desperation during a Google search that I came across the name Harris & Ross. My first contact was with the lady who answered the telephone, based in Manchester City Centre, who completely put me at my ease whilst listening to my plight! I realised that there actually was someone out there who understood the desperation in my voice. I was booked in to see Suzy and latterly Jeff Ross, and that night I had the best night’s sleep in months knowing that I had taken the first step to helping myself to get better. The following five months involved physio sessions each week where Jeff advised me which exercises to do to strengthen my core and gluteus muscles and also checked that I was doing them correctly! There was also lots of 'hands on' physio to relieve the muscles most under pressure. I cannot truthfully say that it has been easy – 2/3 hours of exercise per day was never going to be that – but with Jeff's professional but warm, friendly and compassionate approach, I finally feel that I have turned a corner and am now cycling at least 20 miles per week and walking for at least an hour almost every day, something I could not even dare to dream about 6 months ago! Without doubt, I would not be where I am now without the amazing treatment that I have received from Harris & Ross. Heather Roberts, Interior Designer
