Harris & Ross opens Bury clinic

Posted on January 22nd, 2013

Harris & Ross have opened a new clinic in Bury this January, offering physiotherapy and sports massage services to patients in North Manchester.

The business have clinics located in central and South Manchester as well as Wilmslow, Chester and Wigan, but this will the first in Bury.

Harris & Ross was founded in 2004 by elite physiotherapists Rob Harris and Jeff Ross. After years working at the top level of sports medicine, they set up the practice to offer the kind of treatment and diagnostics previously unavailable to non-professional sports people.

Patients range from amateur sportsmen and women, to office workers and pregnant mums, as well as elite athletes, such as members of Team GB, Martin Murray and Jenny Meadows.

The Bury clinic will be led by Alan Raw, a former Bury FC physiotherapist and one of our most experienced staff members. Alan has also worked with Wigan Warriors, Manchester City Football Club and boxer Scott Quigg.

Retaining the Harris & Ross philosophy of using the best diagnostics available to assess patients’ symptoms, the new clinic will be based at the Blackford House Medical Centre which is also used by leading medical consultants.

It will be offering physiotherapy and sports massage treatments, but will have the added reassurance of access to our full team of specialists if so required.
