Clinical Director, Doug Jones, runs Add People through why they should aim to be Fit4Work

Earlier in the week Doug Jones, Harris & Ross Clinical Director, and a team of physiotherapists and soft tissue therapists headed over to visit the team at Add People.

Harris & Ross had been invited by the HR team at Add People to come and speak to the office staff on site at their Altrincham based HQ. The purpose of the trip was to educate the staff at Add People, about just how beneficial looking after their bodies and health can be for their day to day well being. Throughout the presentation, Doug led a number of audience participation activities of different exercises that the staff would be able to carry out at their desks during their day to day in the office.

Doug commented that “I can see no reason why the average office worker should ever have to endure pain throughout their day-to-day.

I am often asked by clients about very similar problems. These include, but aren’t limited to, lower back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain and headaches. Quite often, a little education around exercises and counter measures from on of our Physiotherapists, will be all that is required to put the client back on track to being pain free. If it is more complicated, Harris & Ross are in a completely unique position that we have a close relationship with Spire Manchester Hospital and as a result of this we can get further medical intervention very quickly. Our aim here is to marginalise waiting times for the client and have them back to full health as soon as we can.

Following this the Add People team were able to get treatment and advice from Harris & Ross. The whole presentation and treatment session lasted around thirty minutes, but can be tailored to meet any needs. For example, we offer anything from a sports massage or physiotherapy to a full medical health assessments and reports. All of this information can then be used to create tailored plans, to restore or maintain good health, both at work and through personal lives.

Should you or your company be interested in how Harris & Ross are able to assist your company with their wellness offering please do not hesitate to get in contact with our team via email: info@harrisandross.co.uk or telephone: 0161 832 9000
