Salford Red Devils sign Harris & RossPosted on January 7th, 2014
Harris & Ross have been named as the official physiotherapists to Super League Club, Salford Red Devils
It’s going to be a massive year for the club, with owner Marwan Koukash’s transformation plans coming to fruition. It also follows the hugely successful Rugby League World Cup.
Harris & Ross will be running the medical department for the entire Red Devils’ squad and we’ll be pitch side for every single match, home and away.
Our healthcare team now includes Rob Artingstall, the head physio at Salford Red Devils. He began his career at Sale Sharks and has since worked at the World Squash Championships and the Lacrosse World Cup, with Team Bermuda. At the Sharks he developed a good relationship with many of Red Bull’s sponsored athletes.
Rob is also available to be seen by our private patients at our Spire Manchester Hospital clinic on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, specialising in injury prevention and rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programmes.
Also joining us is Tom Pooler, the club’s assistant first team physiotherapist. Graduating in 2012, Tom joined the Harris & Ross team from Spire Manchester.
Last but not least is Sarah O’Neil, the first team’s soft tissue therapist. Sarah’s 13 years of experience include working with England’s Lacrosse team to MMA fighters and Olympic athletes. Away from sport, she’s treated patients recovering from transplants and those with chronic conditions.
Harris & Ross have been working with elite rugby league and union teams since the very beginning. Rob Harris was head physiotherapist at Wigan Warriors, GB Rugby and New Zealand’s rugby league team. Jeff Ross was head physiotherapist and consultant physiotherapist at Sale Sharks.
