Society of Sports Therapists features Maria Stansfield

Maria Stansfield, Harris & Ross’ sports massage therapist has been featured by the Society of Sports Therapists.

In its latest edition, the society runs an in depth interview with Maria, talking about her work with Wigan Warriors, Team GB athletes ahead of the London Olympics and her role at the practice.

Maria is a University of Central Lancashire graduate, completing an MSc Sports Therapy degree. A member of the Society of Sports Therapists, she joined the Harris & Ross team to specialise in deep tissue massage and mobilisations; myofascial release and mobilisations; and neural mobilisations.

She’s previously worked with Leigh Centurions Rugby League and Preston North End Football Club
