Sports stars open new Harris & Ross clinic in Bury

Posted on October 23rd, 2013

WBA super-bantamweight champion, Scott Quigg and Wigan Warriors’ Challenge Cup winners, Lee Mossop and Michael McIlorum were on hand to open the new Harris & Ross physiotherapy clinic in Bury.

Our newest surgery is based at the Blackford House Medical Centre in Pilsworth and we will be offering physio, chiropody and podiatry.

Like our clinics throughout the North West, it will be staffed by an extremely experienced team and patients have the assurance that they also treat some of the region’s elite sporting talent.

In Bury, that’s underlined by clinic boss, Alan Raw, who’s been ring-side for Scott Quigg throughout the fighter’s career and was assistant physio at Wigan Warriors during last season’s incredible cup run.

Alan’s 20 year career has seen him spend 8 seasons at Bury FC when they won back-to-back promotions and later join Manchester City, where he first came to the attention of Rob Harris and Jeff Ross.
