Soft Tissue Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is an integral part of our treatment and prevention programme, and works in conjunction with our physiotherapy services or on its own.
It can be used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalising those tissues and consists of manual techniques carried out as part of an ongoing treatment plan.
The manual techniques used include:
- Applying fixed or movable pressure
- Holding and/or causing movement of or to the body providing relief and relaxation for patients
Our Massage Therapy Team
Our expert therapists use the latest techniques to help with a range of aims, such as:
- Aiding your recovery from injury
- Helping you switch to a more active lifestyle
- Preparing you for a physical or sporting goal you have set yourself
Harris & Ross strive to provide patients with the benefit of our vast experience. We have worked with some of the country’s top sportspeople, including Olympic standard athletes and teams such as Wigan Warriors and Manchester United.
We aim to bring this same elite level of knowledge and care to all, whatever your circumstances. Our team appreciate that everyone is different, and this is why we go much further than simply providing a generic massage therapy plan.
By taking the time to get to know you and understand your needs as an individual, we can create a plan that is unique to you and will provide maximum long term benefit.
