Ellie Richardson’s preparation for the Commonwealth Games continues at pace, with a podium finish at the British National Track Cycling Championships.
She can also call herself the fastest Scot, after completing her goal getting a top 10 finish in each of her categories.
As one of Harris & Ross’ own physios, we’re following Ellie’s progress closely as she prepares for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.
This weekend couldn’t have gone much better, with a 6th place in the Sprint, 7th in the 500m Time Trial and then a Silver with partner Lauryn Therin in the Team Sprint.
Ellie’s ride was even more impressive when you see her time, which was faster than the eventual Gold medalists – Team GB sister act, Becky and Rachel James – who went on to win the Gold.
Next up is some rest before preparations begin in earnest for the Scottish Nationals.
