Stef Hurst

Growing up, Stef Hurst played competitive tennis and always had issues with her left knee. It was only later diagnosed that she actually had a meniscal tear! Given the option of surgery or physiotherapy/exercises to self manage, Stef took the second approach and trained herself up to get better knowledge. She went on to study at The University of Salford between 2006-2009, achieving her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. She went on to work in the NHS, then into private practice and sports clubs. She has also worked over in Australia, working with the NRL team the Sydney Roosters. See Stef Hurst in our Wigan clinic.
