James Mansfield

We are delighted to welcome James Mansfield to the Harris & Ross family, joining the team in our Altrincham and Wilmslow clinics. Like many of our physios, James grew up loving sport; playing Cricket and Rugby at county level. Learning from his own experiences with injuries as an athlete, he developed a passion for human movement and rehabilitation. After receiving his First class degree in Physiotherapy from Salford University he joined the medical staff at Team Sky (now Ineos Grenadiers) where he specialised in rehabilitating and managing traumatic injuries, James was part of the teams 2019 Tour de France and 2020 Giro d’Italia wins. He still works with the team in the UK, carrying out their Musculoskeletal Screening and Testing.

James then went on to work in professional cricket with Lancashire County Cricket Clubs 1st team, where he became highly proficient in the treatment of lower back, hand and trunk injuries. James has worked for the last 2 years as a private physiotherapist in the film industry, which involved extensive worldwide travel.

James has now decided to step away from the world of professional sport and film, to enjoy spending more time at home with his young family.
Always striving to fine tune his clinical skills, he is currently studying for his MSc in Sports Medicine with Bath University. When he does have spare time he still enjoys playing cricket, weight training and time outdoors with his 2 children.

Book in now with James at Altrincham or Wilmslow.
