As netball becomes more and more popular, with generations of new players inspired by the amazing England Roses, Harris & Ross are seeing more young players with injuries.
The Mindful Netballer event on 26th June at Harris & Ross Wilmslow in partnership with Furyan Sports Management will talk children and parents through the common growth related issues which can affect young players, how to spot them and how we go about treating them. We will also be demonstrating key strength exercises and dynamic stretching to ensure that injuries are kept at bay.
Plus we will be hearing from the incredible England Roses players- Jade Clarke and Jodie Gibson who will be talking about their own experience in the sport and running through some netball exercises with the group.
Suitable for players aged 8-16yrs. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please come in sports kit for the demo sessions.
Tickets are £5 per attendee, which goes into the Harris & Ross Young Athlete Development fund- supporting promising new talent in the local area.
